Admission to the College

  1. A student seeking admission to the college in the first year of the B.A./B.Com./B.Sc./B.Sc. (Computer Sc.) course will have to apply to the college in the prescribed form immediately after the declaration of H.S.C. examination result.
  2. Students who were in the college during the previous year will have to apply for admission to the college within three days from the declaration of the results of the university examination.
  3. Applications received after the prescribed date for admission will not be considered.
  4. Foreign students seeking admission to the college will have to apply in the prescribed form alongwith the provisional Eligibility Certificate issued by the Registrar, Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Pune and NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE from the Central Government alongwith the students visa and passport.
  5. Students from the other universities in India seeking admission to the college will have to apply in the prescribed form. They will have to apply for Eligibility Certificate to the Registrar, Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) in the prescribed form. They will have to submit the following documents alongwith the application for Eligibility Certificate.
    1. Migration Certificate
    2. Passing Certificate
    3. Attendance Certificate
    4. Transference Certificate
    5. Statement of Marks of previous examination
    6. Character Certificate
    7. Medical and H.I.V. Test (for foreign student)
Admission will be provisional till the student produces final eligibility certificate from the University.

Rules of Discipline

  • Students Should be regular and punctual in attending classes, tutorials and submissions of the term-work in various subjects. Terms shall not be granted and a student shall not be certified for examination if his progress, conduct and attendance is not satisfactory.
  • Students, if found indulging in anti national activities contrary to the provisions of the Acts and Laws enforced by Government will be liable to be expelled from the college without any notice by the Principal of the College.
  • Ragging of students in any form within or outside the College and Hostel is strictly prohibited. Defaulters will be strictly dealt with as per Govt. instructions in this matter.
  • Smoking, drinking (alcohol) and use of drugs is strictly prohibited in the premises of the College and Hostel.
  • Bicycles, scooters and vehicles should be parked only in areas provided for the purpose. The Institute accepts no responsibility for their safe custody. Vehicles lodged elsewhere may be confiscated.
  • Any changes in the address of the student must be intimated by him in writing to the college office immediately.
  • Students must use aprons and uniforms of prescribed pattern while working in dissection hall, Laboratories, Class-room and in the college.
  • A student must carry identity Card signed by the Principal and produce the same whenever asked by the College Authorities. Without Identity Card, students will not be allowed to enter the college premises and will be strictly dealt with.
  • A student is expected to read the notices put up on the notice board of the College. The College accepts no responsibility for loss of any advantage by student due to his failure to read the notice in time.
  • In case, a student requires to remain absent for some reasons, he/she will be required to take the prior permission of the Principal.
  • If any of the statement made in application form or any information supplied by the student in connection with his/her admission is later on, at any time found to be false or incorrect, his/her admission will be cancelled, fees forfeited and he/she will be expelled from the college by the Principal and prosecuted by Govt., if deemed necessary.
  • A student shall not go to the Press or any other publicity media without permission of the Principal.
  • Any damage to the college property apparatus, furniture, equipment, library books, building etc. must be paid immediately by the students.
  • Students must attend Social and National events organised by the College such as 26 January, 10th May and 15th August, and all other declared national celebrations.
  • A student will be bound by the rules and regulations framed by the College / University from time to time.
  • No student will be allowed to appear for the university examination unless he/she has paid all his/her dues and completed his/her practical journals and has kept satisfactory attendance.
  • There are no activities like Annual Social and General elections.
  • Principal reserves the right to prescribe from time to time any rule/s of discipline and accordingly take necessary disciplinary action.
