Vocational and Career Guidance

Yashwantrao Mohite College Vocational And Career Guidance Cell organizes National Level General Knowledge Test every year on the occasion of birthday of Hon. Chancellor Dr. Patangrao Kadam. Many students across the country participate in the test.

LAY

Ladies Association of Yashwantrao Mohite College conducts various competitions like Mehandi, Rangoli, Essay writing etc. to enhance the inbuilt qualities among girl students.

Staff Academy

Eminent Academicians are invited by this committee to guide college staff members.

Students Welfare

This committee looks after the student welfare by providing medical check up . earn and learn schemes helps economically weak students to pursue their education.

Science Association

It is a platform for the faculty and students through which lectures on current issues in science stream are discussed.

Foreign Students cell

It provides assistance to the foreign students regarding admission procedure, campus accommodation etc.

1. Inaugural function of Debating & arts Circle took place on Monday 28th July, 2008 at the auspicious hands of well renowned anchor, interviewer, author & journalist Mr. Sudhir Gadgil.
2. In the Cultural Youth Festival of Bharathi Vidyapeeth University held on 20, 21 & 22nd Sept. 2008 the following students secured 1st rank
   1. Miss. Ananya Dey of F.Y.B.A. in classical vocal song.
   2. Mr. Ferrik Gharibian of T.Y. B.Com. in western vocal song.
   3. Mr. Sandeep Upadhaya of S.Y.B.Sc. in poster Painting.
3. Mr. Agam Gupta, Mr. Prashant Akbari, Mr. Anupam Kumar Sinha, Mr.Ravishankar Soni and Mr.Sumeet Kumar secured 3rd rank in Mock Stock Market Game Competition conducted by Kohinoor Business School & Center for Research, Khandala on 27th Sept.2008.
4. Mr. Ferrik Gharibian of T.Y. B.Com. ‘A’ Class secured 1st rank as “Mr.Pune” in the competation conducted by Pune Times and LG Mobail Company on 30 Sept.2008.
5. Mr. Ferrik Gharibian of T.Y. B.Com. ‘A’ Class secured 1st rank in ‘Western Vocal Song in “Indradhanushya 2008”, in 6th Maharashtra State Inter University Youth Festival competition held on 5th to 9th Nov.2008 by Yashwantrao Chavan Open university, Nasik.
6. Mr.Viraj Dakve, Vaibhav Nagtilak, Ritesh Tapadiya, Mayur dharmadhikari, Sham Gaudase, Sameer Dahibhate and Sanket Shinde secured 1st rank in the following group dance competitions
7. a)"Utophia 2009 dance Competition"held o 30th Jan.to 1st Feb.2009.
8. b)"Abhivishwa Karandak dance Competition" held on 5th Feb.2009.
9. Mr. Sandeep Upadhaya of S.Y.B.Sc. secured 1st rank in spot Painting competition conducted by Bharathi Vidypeeth University IMED Institute Pune-38.
10. Mr.Gaurv Shah of S.Y.B.Sc.(comp.Sci.) 1st rank in solo dance competition conducted by Bharathi Vidypeeth University IMED Institute Pune-38.

• Our following students secured 1st rank in Bharati Kala Mahostav organized by ‘Bharathi Kala Academy during 27th to 29 Dec.2004.
• Inaugural function of the Debating & Arts Circle took place on Saturday 6th Oct.2007 at the auspicious hands of well known drama, film and TV serial actor Shri. Chetan Dalvi.
• Santosh shtpute the student of our college bagged 3rd prize in the solo dance competition “Junoon-2008” organized by District Rotract Organisation on 21st January 2008.
• Annual Cultural Programme
• The students of Yashwantrao Mohite College Celebrated the following different days as part of annual cultural activity:
  1. Saree and Tie Day
  2. Traditional Day
  3. Black & White Day
  4. Khadi Day
  5. Rose Day
• On Saturday 2nd Feb.2008 Annual cultural programme “Sanskriti 2007-2008” was presented by 115 student artists of our college in the evening from 4:30 pm to 8:30 pm in the college campus. During the four hours duration 36 different items such as – solo song, duet song, solo dance , group dance, mimicry, one act play etc. were very nicely presented by our students. This programme was carried out peacefully, joyfully and with good discipline. Each and everyone to saw the programme appreciated it. This programme was the best example of ‘Unity in Diversity’.
• Inaugural function of the Debating & Arts Circle took place on Thursday 8 Aug.2006 at the auspicious hands of well renowned poet, film producer and director Shri. Ramdas Phutane.
• Mr.Gaurav Shah secured 2nd rank in solo-dance competition conducted by Rotract Club of India on behalf of Reliance Industries Ltd. 12 Sept.2006.
• Annual cultural programme “Sanskriti 2006” was presented by 110 student artists of our college on Fri.29th Dec.2006 in the evening from 4:30 pm to 8:30pm in the college campus. During the four hours duration 35 different items such as – solo song, duet song, solo dance , group dance, mimicry, one act play etc. were very nicely presented by our students. This programme was carried out peacefully, joyfully and with good discipline. Each and everyone to saw the programme appreciated it. This programme was the best example of ‘Unity in Diversity’.
• Our Students Miss.Lata Salunke and Rishikesh Deshmukh Secured 1st rank in Duet dance-Dominion-2007 competition arranged by PDEA’S Annasaheb Awate College of Engineering, Hadpsar, Pune.
• Inaugural function of the Debating & Arts Circle took place on 16th Aug 2005 at the auspicious hands of well renowned film actress Mrunal Dev Kulkarni.
• A Lecture by the famous Anti-Dowry movement activist Shri. Mama Kulkarni was organized on 1st Sept.2005. He spoke on the topic “Indian Culture and the Dowry System”.
• On 16th Feb.2006 we screened a film ‘Its Prabhat’ which reflects the growth of Prabhat Film Company.
• Miss Nilima Wagh Secured 1st rank in Elocution Competition organized by the Abhijeetdada Kadam Memorial Foundation.
• Inaugural function of the Debating & Arts Circle took place on 11th Oct 2004 at the auspicious hands of well renowned Marathi and Hindi film and drama actor Dr. Shriram Lagoo.
• Miss Ekta Khullar secured 1st rank in paper presentation competition in microbiology arranged by Symbiosis College, Pune.
